Significant Increase in Inventory versus January 2007
As the chart illustrates, when we compare January 2008 listings to the same month in 2007 we see an increase of 847 additional listings, or 28%.
Median Home Prices - Scottsdale
Scottsdale's median sales price dropped 8% from December of 2007 compared with December 2006. The median price now stands at $550,000.
Sales Decline in Scottsdale Compared to Last Year
There were 308 sales of single-family residences in Scottsdale in December of 2006 yet only 202 sales in the same month this year. This represents a 27 percent decrease year over year.
