The popular Buenavante community (pronounced bway-nuh-von tay) comprises 450 residences built in the early to late 80's.   Actually there are three subdivisions commonly known as Buenavante including Buenavante, Rancho San Carlos, and Scottsdale Village Estates.   The popularity of this community is best demonstrated by a consistent lack of available homes for sale plus the number of residents who desire to remain in the community after downsizing or upsizing. Buenavante residents enjoy one of the finest and most central locations in all of North Scottsdale.

And believe it or not the Buenavante community does not have a formal Homeowner’s Association.  But as evidenced by a drive around the neighborhood, pride of ownership is alive and well. Buenavante is close to everything including two major freeways (101 and 51), shopping (Kierland Commons, PV Mall, The Promenade) theaters, private and public schools, churches, and recreation (golf, fitness centers, hiking, parks, etc) not to mention one of the largest employment centers in the valley at the Scottsdale Airpark.
